Radical Beauty – The Final Pillar

This wraps up the 6 Pillars of Radical Beauty.  I have still found myself drinking the ‘glowing smoothie’ every morning!  It has made a noticeable difference in my digestion.  Coming from someone who always had a hard time eating my greens, I have gotten used to it and actually get a little upset when I miss a day (because I forgot to go to the store)!  It has also helped me branch out into eating more vegetables and less sugar!

Radical Beauty – How to Transform Yourself from the inside out

Separated into six pillars, Radical Beauty takes aim to make you feel and look beautiful from the inside out.  By following these six pillars designed by renowned author and certified nutritionalist Kimberly Snyder,  you will soon see the benefits of following the ‘Radical Beauty’ regimen.  The six pillars are:

  • Pillar 1: Internal Nourishment
  • Pillar 2: External Nourishment
  • Pillar 3: Peak Beauty Sleep
  • Pillar 4: Primal Beauty
  • Pillar 5: Beautiful Movement
  • Pillar 6: Spiritual Beauty

Internal Nourishment

This 1st pillar focuses on preparing your body for the day.  Radical Beauty is big on morning routine!  By following a morning routine you can optimize your digestion and make the absorption of nutrients greater.  Your energy, complexion, weight are all affected by what you intake.

Below is a plan I have adopted from this program.

1. Start with a glass of warm water and 1/2 a lemon!
  • The warm water will help loosen bowels while the lemon rejuvenates liver tissue.
2.  Have a Glowing Green Smoothie – A Kimberly Snyder Recipe
3.  Meditate up to 30 minutes
In the following weeks  I will share more in-depth on each pillar!  Take a look below as Deepak and Kimberly share a little more on Internal Nourishment.

Denise Brings Home Award

Last Week I had spoke about the Studio Eleven designers going to Eufora International and their headquarters in San Diego.  More impressive is what they brought home.

Studio Eleven owner, Denise Gualdoni, was awarded the Eufora Spirit Award.  To our knowledge, the award has only been given out twice in its existence.  The last award was given in 2011.

The award acknowledges the work that Denise puts into Studio Eleven, but it doesn’t end there.  Eufora recognizes the investments that Denise puts into her staff, the community, and the entire hair industry.  Her efforts provide positivity, encouragement and growth in all of her areas of influence.

Way to go!!!!!!    Congratulations!!!!!!!!!

Designers headed West

This weekend the design team is spending its time in the sun of San Diego, California at the Eufora Headquarters.

Eufora is hosting its annual conference called, ‘Visionquest’.  While there, the design team is working on team building, business building and everything in between.

While they may be soaking up some sun, they are most definitely soaking their brains with knowledge from many of the best in the hairdressing industry.

Thank you Eufora for giving us the opportunity to grow!
